Summary:

The Email Marketing Program Manager oversees team planning, daily operations, and end-to-end email execution. They collaborate with a larger B2C marketing team to deliver emails, drive KPIs, and manage day-to-day tasks.

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The team focuses on email marketing, driving program scheduling, coordinating project roadmaps, and maintaining documentation and reporting.

Key Projects: Key projects include designing and executing marketing plans, email marketing campaigns, and managing project timelines and dependencies.

Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: Tasks include coordinating email campaign execution, managing day-to-day operations, measuring marketing effectiveness, and maintaining communication with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Email execution-Coordinate email campaign execution, from planning to design to launch.

Day-to-Day operations-Drive email program operations, including sprint planning, timeline management, milestones, and dependencies

Measurement-Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

Documentation & reporting-Maintain up-to-date documentation; share regular reporting on deployments, prioritization, and other updates from the email channel team.

Act as the point of communication with stakeholders, including keeping campaigns on time, communicating blockers, discuss improvements. Gather input and relevant information to share across the email channel program.

Skills:

Strong familiarity with B2C email marketing.

Familiarity with project management tools and agile workflows.

Experience working in Figma.

Comfortable with data analysis, and campaign measurement.

Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

Can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Candidate Requirements

5+ years: Email Marketing: Strong familiarity with B2C email marketing.

Strong familiarity with B2C email marketing and project management tools is essential.

5+ years: Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools and agile workflows.

5+ years: Data Analysis: Comfortable with data analysis and campaign measurement.

A bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or comparable experience.

Strong demonstrated experience in email marketing is more valuable than certifications like PMP.
