This can be a 100% remote role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our team and take a lead role in managing our Azure/Office 365 environment, Active Directory/Group Policy administration, and Windows Server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting hybrid multi-tenant environments, with specific expertise in Azure AD, Exchange 2019, and implementing security best practices. Additionally, this role will involve extensive experience in Active Directory migration, domain design, and Group Policy management, including implementing and enforcing security policies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Azure/Office 365 environment, focusing on supporting a hybrid multi-tenant setup and implementing security best practices for Azure AD and Exchange 2019.
  • Lead Active Directory migration projects, including designing, building, and implementing new domains and migrating pre-existing domains from old to new infrastructure.
  • Conduct Active Directory clean-up activities to optimize performance and security.
  • Design and implement Group Policies to enforce security and configuration standards across the organization.
  • Administer Group Policy in alignment with organizational requirements and security standards.
  • Upgrade, rebuild, and migrate Windows servers and configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Review server security settings and posture through a thorough Group Policy review, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure successful completion of pending projects, such as domain functional level upgrades and group policy reviews impacting various departments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Azure/Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
  • Proven experience in successfully migrating Active Directory and implementing domain design best practices.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Group Policies to enforce security and configuration standards.
  • Strong understanding of domain design and security best practices, with advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration.
  • Experience in upgrading, rebuilding, and migrating Windows servers and configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to lead projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
