Role: GIS Developer

Complete Description:
- Ideal/preferred candidate will be able to work onsite once a week in Richmond, VA
- If requested by hiring manager, top candidate(s) may be requested to have a second interview in person.
- Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOT s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking.
- Contract to be extended beyond 6/30/24, likely by 6-12+ months.
- VDOT IT Division is seeking an experienced GIS Developer to join our team to work with IT infrastructure, databases, middleware and business teams to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex applications and workflows.
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and common associated add-ins/extensions. Required 5 Years
Experience developing low-code applications using WebAppBuilder and Experience Builder Required 3 Years
Data development in RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle), JSON, XML, web services Required 3 Years
Administration and management of GIS web platforms: ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online. Required 3 Years
ArcGIS Web development skills using ESRI Java Script API 3.X and 4.X, and/or ArcGIS SDK for .NET Required 2 Years
Experience developing in Python 2.X and Python 3.X for GIS ETL, with ArcPy experience desired. Required 2 Years
Designing and managing end to end mobile data collection workflows with FieldMaps and Survey123 Required 2 Years
Hands-on experience with Linear Referencing Systems Highly desired 2 Years
Experience working with source control repositories like Team Foundation Server Highly desired 2 Years
