Sr Cloud Engineer

The Sr Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operations of next-generation hybrid multi-cloud environment with on-prem and cloud resources, Tier III platform support and change control process. This individual will also work closely with applications, cyber security, architects, and other teams to ensure services are designed to meet SNC's needs, and are meeting SLA along with adhering to SNC's security and compliance requirements.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on M365/ Intune/Azure Arc & Compliance solutions and using industry best practices.
• Maintain security and compliance measures using Microsoft Purview Security & Compliance tools including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Data Lifecycle Management.
• Setup, configure, and maintain Entra ID solutions including MFA, SSO, SSPR, Conditional Access, B2B
• Manage Exchange Online
• Execute M365 migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption for on-prem to M365 and tenant to tenant migrations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and implement security solutions aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Technical expertise and support for M365/Intune & Compliance-related initiatives and projects

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Relevant experience includes implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Cloud Operations and/or Hypervisor or Hyperconverged environments; designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS, IaC, and PAAS; and experience with IT operations, system monitoring, and analytics
• Proficient with automating operational process using Ansible
• Proficient in cloud infrastructure management including Virtual Desktops & Servers, Networking and Storage
• Experience implementing and managing Entra ID
• Understanding of Active Directory Federation Services

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of virtual firewalls, VPN tunnels, and cloud networking
• Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g. Azure AKS)
• Experience in migrating standalone infrastructure to AWS and Azure
• Ability to work closely with DevOps, SysOps, NetOps and Applications teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• At least One of the following Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Specialist
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
