Role: Amazon Lex Developer
Location: Remote
We are seeking a specialized Amazon Lex Developer to support a financial services client, with a strong focus on designing, building, and optimizing Lex bots integrated with Amazon Connect. This role is dedicated specifically to Lex and conversational bot development and is separate from broader Amazon Connect or AI platform roles.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Amazon Lex (V2) conversational bots for customer-facing contact center use cases
Implement and manage Amazon Connect + Lex integrations, including call flows, intents, slots, and prompts
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective conversational experiences
Troubleshoot and optimize bot performance, accuracy, and customer experience
Ensure solutions meet financial services security, compliance, and data-handling standards
Required Experience
Hands-on experience developing Amazon Lex bots (Lex V2 strongly preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Amazon Connect, including contact flows and Lex integration points
Experience designing conversational flows, intent modeling, and error handling
Ability to debug and support production issues in Connect/Lex environments
Background supporting enterprise or regulated environments (financial services preferred
Nice to Have
Lambda integration with Lex
Experience with STT/TTS tuning or NLU optimization
Familiarity with CI/CD or IaC for AWS contact center solutions
