If you're a senior ORC/HCM developer who loves building custom recruiting solutions from the ground up and enjoys being the bridge between technical and business teams - this is your role.
Role Overview & Day-to-Day
You will be the go-to technical expert driving end-to-end custom development and optimization inside Oracle Recruitment Cloud (ORC) and broader HCM Cloud. Key activities include:
- Building and enhancing recruiting workflows, candidate journeys, and hiring processes
- Designing and delivering custom dashboards and real-time analytics requested by Talent Acquisition & HR leaders
- Troubleshooting and resolving tickets related to requisitions, job postings, candidate applications, offers, and cross-module issues (Payroll, Absence, Workflows)
- Creating process flowcharts, wireframes, technical design documents, and user-friendly visuals from discovery meetings
- Developing new reports, alerts, and automations that require coding
- Proven senior-level development experience on Oracle Cloud (HCM & ORC) using PaaS extensions
- Strong custom solution development from scratch using:
- Oracle APEX
- Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
- Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP)
- PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
- Deep functional & technical knowledge of Oracle Recruitment Cloud (ORC) and HCM Core
- Fast Formula creation and modification
- HCM Data Loader (HDL) bulk loads, transformations, error handling
- REST/SOAP APIs consuming and exposing, deep integration experience
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) all major adapters, orchestration patterns, scheduled flows
- ETL design and development (extract from ORC/HCM, transform, load to data warehouse or third-party systems)
- Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS
- Understanding of HCM/ORC security model, data access roles, and privilege configuration
- Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher in recruiting context
- Groovy scripting
- Customer-facing role you will interact daily with HR, Recruiters, and TA leadership
- Excellent communication: ability to translate complex technical solutions into simple business language
- Highly proactive: researches solutions independently, identifies gaps, proposes improvements
- Strong ownership: can run with requirements end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Solid documentation habits (technical specs, process flows, integration diagrams)
