In office at the Technology Center in Boston

The IoT Networking Specialist will collaborate closely with the teams in Boston, San Francisco, and Toronto to establish secure network connections for our machines and develop data collection strategies to bring a diverse set of data types into our Digital Twins in Autodesk Tandem. The role will also require interfacing regularly with our Network and Security teams to understand, translate and implement proper IoT, data collection, and data storage protocols as well as and helping to source and install network and data collection hardware to capture data for our unique use-cases. Workshop equipment you will be interfacing with includes robotics, CNC mill/lathes/routers, waterjet, 3D printers, lasers cutters, composites, glass, ceramics, finishing, wood and metal, as well systems and external sensors that monitor power, HVAC, building occupancy, temperature, and other
building systems.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete deliverables for IoT integration
* Communicate with network security engineering team
* Understand and implement network security protocols
* Connect IoT and IIoT sensors to Autodesk Tandem, ensuring seamless data ingestion from devices such as temperature, acoustic, sound, vibration, humidity, CO2, etc.
* Configure and test data streams using Tandem Connect and other supported integrations such as MTConnect and OPC UA to enable data flow into digital twins
* Document processes and create user-friendly guides and workflows
* Work with network and trust teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues between IoT devices and Tandem
* Explore and propose new features and solutions to improve the scalability and usability of digital twins
