Job Title: 7137 SharePoint Architect / Developer (Must reside in Sacramento to be considered)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Developer with extensive expertise in SharePoint to design, build, and launch an internal Central HUB SharePoint site. The Developer will also support the creation of additional SharePoint sites, assist with governance and security structures, and provide training and knowledge transfer to staff.
Key Responsibilities
- SharePoint Development & Design
- Create a Central Intranet HUB using SharePoint templates for consistency.
- Design, configure, and deploy SharePoint team and communication sites.
- Develop SharePoint templates, lists, libraries, workflows, and site collections.
- Project Oversight & Collaboration
- Manage project schedules, plans, and approvals for SharePoint site launches.
- Provide oversight and progress updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop training materials for site owners and end users.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
- System Administration & Support
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint technical issues.
- Research best practices to optimize workflows and increase efficiencies.
- Process & Governance
- Define governance structures for site administration and usage.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SharePoint developer, architect, or site administrator.
- Expertise in:
- Windows operating systems
- Office 365, Power BI, PowerShell
- SharePoint tools, workflows, PowerApps, and Forms
- Power Automate
- Experience with cloud and hybrid SharePoint deployments.
- Project management experience, including successful SharePoint implementations.
- Strong background in developing training materials and delivering training sessions.
