Job Details

Title: Document Management Administrator

Duration: Contract

Location/Remote/Workspace: Paramus New Jersey 07652

Hybrid: 2 days/week in office minimum

As an IT Document Management Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and enhancement of our document imaging platform. Leveraging your knowledge of document imaging and OCR technology, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that streamline document capture, indexing, and retrieval processes.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Administer the Perceptive Content document imaging system, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of server components, databases, and client applications.
  2. Configure Perceptive Content workflows, document types, metadata fields, and security settings to align with business requirements and optimize document management processes.
  3. Integrate Brainware OCR technology with Perceptive Content to automate document capture, extraction, and indexing of critical data from scanned documents, invoices, and forms.
  4. Design and implement automated document capture, classification, and routing workflows using Brainware OCR and Perceptive Content, reducing manual effort and improving process efficiency.
  5. Provide training and technical support to end-users on Perceptive Content and Brainware OCR functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure optimal system usage and user satisfaction.
  6. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimization strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and availability of the document imaging platform.
  7. Implement and maintain security controls, access permissions, and audit trails to protect sensitive information stored in Perceptive Content and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  8. Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, configuration manuals, and standard operating procedures. Generate reports and metrics to track system usage, performance, and compliance.

Education / Experience / Background

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or computer related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT and Document Imaging Solutions required,

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Strong understanding of OCR technology, data extraction, and document processing with a proven record of improving throughput. Brain ware OCR experience desired..

  • Proficiency in administration of document imaging systems administration, including server installation, configuration, and maintenance. Perceptive Content administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with system integration, API development, and scripting languages
  • PeopleSoft integration experience and PeopleSoft Accounts Payable experience desired
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
