Our client, a (tech industry), is looking to hire a (UX Researcher II) in (Remote- Seattle, WA).

Title: UX Researcher II
Duration: 12-months, chance for extension
Location: Remote, Seattle area as there is likelihood they may need to use physical labs
Start Date: ASAP
Pay range - $60/hr.- $67/hr. on w2.( DOE)

Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Mixed Methods User Researcher to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at qual moderation, survey analysis, reporting, and will thrive in a fast-paced work environment. They will be responsible for handling end-to-end research projects, showcasing excellent communication, and collaborating seamlessly with researchers, product managers, designers, and engineers.
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Scope study objectives, research questions, and methods aligned with product team needs (e.g., mixed methods such as surveys, interviews, usability)
  • Draft research plans and discussion guides for concept evaluations and usability sessions
  • Coordinate with XFN partners (PM, EM, DS, CD) to align on research goals and logistics
  • Manage study setup, participant recruitment (with internal partners) and schedule logistics
  • Monitor and manage ongoing surveys using Qualtrics
  • Coordinate in-person or remote lab sessions (depending on whether topic is hardware or software related)
  • Analyze qualitative data from interviews as well as quantitative data from surveys
  • Collaborate with both UXR & DS partners to integrate and interpret findings
  • Draft toplines, insight summaries, and final reports for stakeholders
  • Present key takeaways in XFN meetings and contribute to decision-making discussions
  • Attend weekly syncs with XFN leads for product teams to provide study updates and gather intake

Must-Have HARD Skills:
1 Mixed Methods UXR Experience; can execute both qual (interviews, usability, incl. moderation and with in-lab settings) and quantitative (tracking surveys) independently
2 Effective communication; Clear written and verbal communication of insights
3 E2E study execution; experience writing research briefs, study materials, and keeping team engaged along the way
4 Tools: Qualtrics, R / Python, Google Suite

Nice-to-have Skills
1 Gaming subject-matter expertise
2 Advanced quant analytics
3 Experience in Big Tech

Degrees/Certifications Required:
  • Bachelor s or Master s in HCI, Psychology or Cog Science, Design Research, Human Factors, Market Research or equivalent work history in UXR
