Location: Canada(Remote)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Product Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, and ensure high-quality delivery of product increments. Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and resolve user stories and issues within Jira.
  • Develop and evaluate detailed business requirements.
  • Monitor software development to ensure standards are met and maintainability is prioritized.
  • Manage and triage incidents and enhancement requests.
  • Document and execute user story acceptance tests.
  • Support team members by providing clarification and solutions related to user stories.
  • Conduct investigation and analysis of production incidents.
  • Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and IT teams to negotiate solutions.
  • Ensure product increments meet high quality standards prior to release.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Commerce, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
  • 3 5 years of experience in an IT Analyst role.
  • Team leadership experience (formal or informal).
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and persistent with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in stakeholder engagement.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering quality products.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4 ERP, especially Cash Management, TRM, or Concur (v1809 or newer).
  • Experience with Workday HCM or Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Advanced experience using Jira for backlog and sprint management.
