About the Role:AaraTech Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support testing activities across software projects. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow in quality assurance, learn various testing methodologies, and collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review business and functional requirements to create effective test plans.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts (manual or automated).
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and compatibility testing.
- Validate data, UI functionalities, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers, BA teams, and product owners to resolve issues.
- Assist with UAT support, test evidence documentation, and release readiness.
- Maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Tester.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience with manual testing; exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
