ECS is seeking a Technical Insertion Engineer to work in our Tucson, AZ office.

ECS is supporting the 309 Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ. Support includes, but is not limited to aerospace storage and preservation, aircraft parts reclamation, aircraft regeneration, depot-level maintenance overflow, and aircraft disposal.

ECS provides engineering services to augment and advise the organic engineering team. In that capacity, we will review AMARG projects to advise and execute the development and implementation of process orders, facilities engineering projects, industrial process control (IPC), and engineering change management.

ECS is looking for an experienced Technical Insertion Engineer who shall advise and assist government personnel with the optimization of government industrial and engineering processes. The engineer shall apply state-of-the-art industry knowledge in making improvements to government tools and processes at AMARG. This engineer shall gain familiarity with the government Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and execute SBIR projects and enter projects into the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) Technology Roadmap Tool.

The Technical Insertion Engineer shall be familiar with the AMARG production machine and government acquisitions processes to enable them to research unique tools needed to optimize tools and processes at AMARG. The engineer shall research and identify technology insertion opportunities to optimize AMARG production.

This role is onsite at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, and requires a SECRET clearance.

Required Skills

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Three+ years of experience working in the engineering field.
  • Ability to conduct the research and analysis necessary to identify faults and constraints in industrial and mechanical processes and identify technological insertion opportunities to improve these processes.
