Desktop Support Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide frontline technical assistance and ensure seamless operations across their hospital and clinical environments. This role supports end users by diagnosing and resolving issues with desktop hardware, software, and network components-helping keep critical systems up and running efficiently. The position offers exposure to a variety of technologies and the opportunity to support multiple sites while collaborating with a dedicated IT team.

Location:

Arcadia Hospital (occasional travel to Los Angeles and Alhambra)

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $26/hr - $30/hr

What You'll Do:

- Provide hands-on technical support for desktop hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.

- Image and deploy PCs, laptops, and MACs using SCCM and Casper.

- Assist with user and departmental moves, remote support, and troubleshooting at multiple sites.

- Maintain and track hardware inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.

- Adhere to IT service processes, escalate issues appropriately, and contribute to process improvements.

What Gets You the Job:

- 6 months to 2 years of IT support experience in a professional environment.

- Working knowledge of Windows 7/10, OS X, and Microsoft Office 2010/2016.

- Familiarity with tools such as Cerner, Footprints, and Kronos is a plus.

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to support users across varied skill levels.

- High school diploma required; associate degree in IT or a related field preferred.
