SENIOR PROEJCT MANAGER COMMERCIAL SALES

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Project Manager to lead customer-facing projects and drive seamless execution from opportunity through delivery within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as the bridge between sales, customers, production, engineering, supply chain, and finance, ensuring that commercial commitments are translated into executable operational plans. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, understands manufacturing processes, and can manage multiple customer projects with precision and urgency.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Project Ownership
- Manage customer projects from RFQ through delivery and post-sale support.
- Develop project scopes, customer requirement documents, timelines, and delivery plans.
- Ensure commercial terms, pricing agreements, and customer expectations are aligned across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities Sales Enablement & Customer Coordination
- Partner with sales executives to support quotations, proposals, and customer program planning.
- Serve as primary customer contact for milestones, technical clarifications, and delivery schedules.
- Lead customer status reviews and program performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities Manufacturing & Operations Integration
- Translate customer demand, forecasts, and orders into production-ready schedules.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to ensure capacity, materials, and labor.
- Track production progress and communicate risks and recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities Order & Delivery Management
- Monitor full quotetocash lifecycle including order entry, production, quality checkpoints, shipping, and acceptance.
- Ensure ontime delivery performance meets customer expectations.
- Oversee change requests, spec updates, and engineering revision management.
Key Responsibilities Cross-Functional Communication
- Facilitate communication between sales, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality.
- Prepare and deliver project dashboards, revenue forecasts, and project health metrics.
- Drive cross-functional problem solving and escalate issues early.
Key Responsibilities Continuous Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks in salestomanufacturing workflows.
- Standardize project documents and communication tools.
- Support pricing updates, customer onboarding, and sales operations enhancements.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 4+ years of project or program management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with commercial sales or customer programs.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and supply chain.
- Excellent customerfacing communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and ERP systems.
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience supporting quoting, contract review, or commercial operations.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification.
- Background in highmix, engineertoorder, or maketostock manufacturing.
