- Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Utilize orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Prefect for workflow management.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS and tools such as Snowflake for data storage and processing.
- Design and implement data lake and warehouse architectures (e.g., S3 + Athena, Delta Lake).
- Develop and maintain data models, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring, validation, deduplication, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and ensure continuity in data systems.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation of project logic, decisions, and maintenance processes.
- Apply advanced SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Follow version control and CI/CD practices for data workflows using tools like Git.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Prefect.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and tools like Snowflake.
- Expertise in data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Advanced skills in Python for data manipulation (e.g., pandas, pyarrow, pyspark).
- 5+ years of experience in data infrastructure and management, including data quality assurance.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
- Experience with advanced SQL and database technologies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical work to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and proactively identify issues and opportunities.
