Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a Manager, Automation Engineering - Drone Delivery Operations, you will lead the design and execution of performance measurement strategies that drive operational excellence in our Last Mile Delivery program. You'll focus on operational performance, partner enablement, and executional insights across our autonomous delivery network. You'll define and manage KPIs, build scalable measurement frameworks, and partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Your work will directly inform operational decisions, drone partner performance, and scaling strategies. This is an onsite role based at our Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas; a full relocation package can be made available, but we are not considering remote applicants for this opportunity.

- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, operations strategy, or related fields, with a proven track record of driving measurable impact in complex environments
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with working knowledge of data platforms such as BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, or Snowflake
- Strong statistical foundation, including hypothesis testing, predictive modeling, and experimentation design
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and the ability to build intuitive dashboards for diverse audiences
- Strategic business acumen, with the ability to translate data into insights that inform operational decisions, partner performance, and scaling strategies
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or autonomous delivery strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, tailored to both technical and executive audiences
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment across analytics, operations, and product teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments, with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
You'll make an impact by...
- Operational Metrics Strategy: Define, socialize, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the Annual Operating Plan. Develop roadmaps to achieve metric goals and present progress to senior leadership in recurring forums.
- Executional Insights & Partner Performance: Translate operational insights into actions that improve delivery reliability and partner accountability. Lead performance improvement initiates across service providers. Support vendor reviews and expansion planning with data-backed recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Analytics, Data Science, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and visibility across the organization. Collaborate with Finance to ensure strategic alignment and reporting consistency.
- Business Insights & Storytelling: Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level narratives. Build compelling presentations and dashboards that influence strategic decisions.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Design and implement intuitive visualizations and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experimentation & Optimization: Lead experimentation initiatives to test hypotheses, measure impact, and optimize delivery operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Influence without authority by driving metric adoption and accountability across diverse teams.
