Job Details
Role: Confluent Kafka Engineer
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Required Skills:
- 7+ yrs. experience.
- Setup new Confluent Kafka platform
- Upgrade and maintain existing platform to latest version
- Hands-on experience with Kafka Brokers
- Hands-on experience with Schema Registry
- Hands-on experience with KSQL DB and understanding of underlying implementation and functions
- Hands-on experience with Kafka connectors and understanding of underlying implementation
- Proficient understanding of Kafka client (Producer and consumer) functioning
- Collaborate among development teams, product Managers, operations teams and architecture groups
- Ability to design and implement technical solutions for the Kafka On-prem (must) and Confluent Cloud (good to have)
