We are currently seeking a Jira/Confluence Administrator with hands-on experience in Jira and Confluence to provide crucial support in application-level configurations and data management for our cloud-based Atlassian product instance. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, this role will focus on ensuring the optimal functionality of our systems and supporting end-users within our Atlassian enterprise cloud instance.
Administer and support the Atlassian Jira and Confluence platforms, encompassing tasks such as user management, permission schemes, workflows, and configurations.
Provide technical support to end-users through the Jira Service Desk, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
Develop custom solutions and integrations using REST APIs to extend the functionality and reporting capabilities of Jira and Confluence to meet specific requirements.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to Jira and Confluence administration and support.
Analyse, review, and document application usage to conduct data cleanup and archival processes.
Collaborate directly with multiple teams to understand their needs, providing recommendations in workflows, configurations, and reporting requirements accordingly.
Create and maintain documentation on best practices, standard operating procedures, and usage guidelines using various formats, including videos, PowerPoint, PDFs, etc.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Over two years of experience and proficiency with the Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM).
One year of experience in administering user permissions and security settings to ensure appropriate access levels.
One year of support for 3rd party add-ons and integrations to enhance Jira functionality.
One year of expertise in writing JQL queries and creating Jira Dashboards.
One year of experience in creating Jira workflows, fields, screens, and schemes.
One year of hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM).
One year of experience in writing APIs.
Strong customer support/help desk experience.
Experience managing an Atlassian environment using agile and project management methodologies and best practices.
In-depth knowledge of Jira configuration, administration, and customization.
Strong understanding of agile and project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across the organization.
Ability to train and support users effectively, including content creation and presentation.
