4+ years of Workday project management experience, including implementations, integrations, and optimizations.
Deep knowledge of Workday core modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Recruiting).
Workday integrations, data migration, and vendor methodology experience preferred.
PMP or equivalent certification required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or similar.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Background in Agile and Waterfall/hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact, cloud-based application projects, with a strong focus on Workday initiatives (implementations, optimizations, and upgrades). This role involves managing complex, cross-functional programs, collaborating with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendor teams to support digital transformation efforts.

The ideal candidate has proven expertise in Workday project delivery, SaaS solution lifecycles, and the ability to execute structured, transparent project management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership
    • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of Workday (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting) and other cloud-based application initiatives.
    • Define scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
    • Apply Workday methodologies and governance best practices to ensure successful deployments.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for Workday project workstreams and cross-functional teams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Execution & Resource Oversight
    • Coordinate resources across HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors.
    • Monitor progress, track deliverables, and remove roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Risk, Budget & Change Management
    • Identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets, and forecast resource requirements.
    • Lead scope control and change management to ensure minimal business disruption.
  • Communication & Reporting
    • Provide concise updates, executive briefings, and stakeholder reports.
    • Track performance against KPIs and conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure projects meet industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
    • Maintain quality assurance across all deliverables.
