Job Title : Advanced Systems Engineer - Requirements Management and Test

Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for an Advanced Systems Engineer - Requirements Management and Test to work from their McLeansville, NC facility. As a systems engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems - Seaborne Platform Systems, you will be a member of a cross functional SEIT team responsible for the Systems Engineering tasking and deliverables for a large scale hardware and software centric system, to include: CONOPS development, requirements management, system testing, and system modeling.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Necessary:
- Strong Systems Engineering background with integrated systems that include hardware (mechanical & electrical) and software/controls
- Software systems engineering experience necessary. Experience with complete HW/SW systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency and experience with DOORS and requirements management process and tools
- Proficiency and experience developing software/hardware test plans/test cases/test procedures
- Proficiency and experience with Software Design and Testing
Preferred:
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), using MagicDraw or other similar tools, to develop Block Definition Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, etc.
- Experience conducting system testing and generating test reports
- CONOPS development or similar
