Account Executive (Business Development Manager)
Location: Preferably Dallas and around with travel to customer locations
Fulltime Role
Responsibilities:
- Create a 30-60-90-365 days plan for business development and present it to management.
- Identify and seek the support required to win new businesses.
- Execute the agreed business development plan.
- Collaborate with delivery executive and create sales materials Company brochure, Capabilities deck, case studies etc.
- Leverage existing connects to bring in additional business.
- Participate in customer events and develop new connections.
- Utilize social media, virtual and in-person connects to develop network for the organization.
- Reach out to new customers to get a foot in the door.
Must have:
- 10+ years' experience in IT Sales & Business development.
- Helped bring new business opportunities in small to medium IT consulting services organization.
- Good understanding of prevailing IT requirements (Technology, Consulting, Support etc.) and helped shape RFP responses/deals/rate negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with Senior level leaders (Sr. Directors, VP, CIOs) in client organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate IT deals with vendor management teams in the client side.
- Experience in establishing client connects through multiple channels -social media, professional memberships/forums etc.
- Experience working with small companies/start ups
Targets:
Annual target of $5 M for the first year with progressive revenue for each quarter
