Remote Salesforce Developer (Lightning & Nylas Integration Specialist) - Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Lightning Developer with specialized expertise in Nylas integrations to join our team remotely. In this contract role, you will design, develop, and optimize Salesforce Lightning solutions while seamlessly integrating Nylas email APIs. Your work will drive productivity enhancements and streamline communication workflows for our business partners at a major insurance company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce Lightning components and applications.

• Integrate Salesforce with Nylas APIs to enable end to end tracking of negotiations and outcomes via email

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between Salesforce, Nylas, and other third-party systems.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Optimize Salesforce performance, security, and data integrity.

• Document technical designs, processes, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Technical Expertise:

   • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Lightning (Aura/LWC) development.

   • Experience with Nylas/Salesforce integrations (email) a huge plus.

   • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, and Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs.

   • Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., middleware like MuleSoft, Zapier).

   • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, flows, and security models.

2. Integration Skills:

   • Demonstrated ability to build and debug Nylas-Salesforce solutions.

   • Experience with OAuth 2.0, webhooks, and reporting.

3. Soft Skills:

• Fluent English communication (written/verbal).

• Self-motivated with strong remote work discipline.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks independently.
