RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operational Technology Architect in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned OT Architect to design and lead the implementation of integrated Operational Technology solutions within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between IT and OT systems, enabling real-time data integration, observability, and improved operational reliability. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient OT architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and architect OT systems that integrate seamlessly with IT infrastructure
* Develop real-time data streaming solutions and API integrations to enable operational insights
* Lead implementation of monitoring and observability technologies tailored to OT environments
* Define architectural standards and best practices for OT/IT integration
* Collaborate with reliability engineers and application teams to enhance asset performance through automation and data-driven processes
* Ensure security and compliance standards are embedded in OT solutions
* Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in OT infrastructure and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive experience with Operational Technology systems in industrial or manufacturing settings
* Experience with application integration and data accessibility across heterogeneous environments
* Background in reliability engineering and automation to support operational efficiency
* Strong knowledge of IT/OT integration principles and best practices
* Expertise in real-time data streaming and API-driven architectures
* Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Elastic Stack, or similar platforms
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence technical direction
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
