Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Tech Support specialist to join our team in Hawthorne, California. This long-term contract role requires a detail-oriented and experienced individual to provide advanced technical support and ensure seamless IT operations in a hybrid cloud environment. The position involves onsite support, addressing complex technical issues, and maintaining user satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver onsite technical support five days a week, providing coverage for 8-hour shifts.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 technical issues, primarily on PCs, with some Mac support, including connectivity to cloud services and Microsoft tenants.
Manage and maintain security policies and device configuration using Intune.
Oversee user onboarding and offboarding processes through EntraID.
Provide expertise in Microsoft technologies, such as Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, and Intune, to support business operations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal functionality of network components, including switches and firewalls, with a preference for experience in Ubiquiti systems.
Apply a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including subnetting and network architecture, to address connectivity challenges.
Communicate effectively with users and team members, both verbally and in writing, to deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure adherence to best practices and avoid testing in live production environments.
Maintain consistent support throughout the contract period, ensuring continuity and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, specializing in Microsoft technologies such as Office 365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
Proficiency in using and managing Intune for device and security management.
Strong knowledge of EntraID for user lifecycle management.
Familiarity with cloud environments, including hybrid setups, and a basic understanding of Azure is a plus.
Hands-on experience with networking concepts, including subnetting, and familiarity with network devices such as switches and firewalls.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software, particularly with Windows 10 and basic deskside support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with users and team members.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
