Title: : Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, California, ONSITE ROLE (ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES)
Duration: Long term
As a senior member of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will:
Lead the site reliability strategy for medical device mobile and cloud digital software (Class II & III).
Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver highly resilient software solutions.
Implement and drive SRE improvement processes and influence organizational change.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and promote a culture of SRE across software development, delivery, and operations.
Apply DevOps, test automation, load testing, and observability practices.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Utilize SLI/SLOs, error budgets, release engineering, and toil reduction strategies.
Influence tooling and process adoption to enhance software delivery and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
Strong background in secure software development.
Proficiency in tools and technologies such as:
CI/CD pipelines
Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
Python, Java, Go, Ruby
Monitoring and observability tools
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
Familiarity with medical device software is a plus.
