Job Details

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of transactional data in CashPro reports following any changes in upstream systems or payment services
  • Cross-functional coordination, issue triaging, and ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle
  • Define and maintain the E2E test strategy for CashPro reporting, covering all upstream systems and payment services
  • Identify test scenarios and data validation points across integrated systems
  • Establish test entry/exit criteria and ensure alignment with release timelines
  • Collaborate with upstream system owners, payment service teams, and reporting application teams to understand change impacts
  • Coordinate test activities across multiple teams and environments
  • Act as the central point of contact for E2E testing efforts
  • Lead execution of E2E test cases, focusing on validating transactional data in reports
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy post-deployment or system changes
  • Monitor test results and ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved
  • Investigate and triage issues found during testing or reported post-release
  • Facilitate root cause analysis with relevant teams
  • Drive resolution and retesting efforts to closure
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on test progress, risks, and issues
  • Escalate blockers and critical defects to leadership as needed
  • Document test results and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and audit requirements
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
  • Support release readiness assessments from a testing perspective
  • Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios across integrated systems
  • Validate transactional data in reports after upstream changes
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve defects efficiently
  • Collaborate with upstream systems, payment services, and reporting teams
  • Manage dependencies and ensure test coverage across all impacted systems
  • Define test scope, entry/exit criteria, and test data requirements
  • Align test plans with release schedules and business priorities
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders
  • Escalate issues and risks appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and audit requirements
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience
  • End-to-end testing expertise
  • Defect triage & root cause analysis
  • Test planning & strategy development

Desired skills:
  • Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium/Cucumber
  • Experience using tools like JIRA, ALM, or SQL for test management and data validation
  • Domain knowledge in Banking/Payments
  • Understanding of financial transaction flows and reporting logic
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance considerations
