Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Hybris Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend components of our SAP Hybris Commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java, have a strong understanding of Hybris architecture, and be able to effectively contribute to both development and system integration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development:
    Design and develop backend services and components for SAP Hybris Commerce using Java, Spring, and Hybris platform APIs.

  • Customization & Extensions:
    Customize and extend existing Hybris modules (e.g., Product, Order, Customer, Checkout) based on business-specific requirements.

  • System Integration:
    Develop and manage integrations between Hybris and external systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways) via REST/SOAP APIs, SAP Data Hub, or SAP CPI.

  • Data Modeling:
    Create and maintain data models and item types in Hybris to support business processes and ensure optimal data structure.

  • Order & Product Management:
    Implement and maintain backend logic for product catalogs, pricing, promotions, and order processing within the Hybris platform.

  • Performance Optimization:
    Analyze and optimize backend performance for high availability and scalability, ensuring a smooth and responsive customer experience.

  • Security Best Practices:
    Ensure backend services adhere to security best practices to protect user data and meet industry standards.

  • Troubleshooting & Debugging:
    Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues and performance bottlenecks in the Hybris system.

  • Version Control & Deployment:
    Utilize version control tools (e.g., Git) for source code management, and assist in deployment processes including CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, in an Agile development environment.

  • Documentation:
    Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend services, API specifications, system integrations, and customizations.

  • Continuous Learning & Improvement:
    Stay updated on the latest features, best practices, and developments in Hybris, Java, and eCommerce technologies, and apply them to improve platform functionality.
