Job Description:

Business Analyst

Location: fully remote, client in Eastern and Central time zones

Duration: through 12/31/2025

Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States

Apex Systems seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support ERP Operations within the Finance division at our telecommunication client. This role will focus on process engineering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration for a new application that integrates with SAP and supports supply chain operations in the field.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with IT teams, a strong understanding of business process documentation, and familiarity with SAP and supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Supply Chain and Field Operations to gather and document business requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of a new application that tracks inventory usage in SAP.
  • Analyze current inventory processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Create detailed process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT/development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Track and report system issues, enhancements, and user feedback.
  • Help manage project timelines and keep stakeholders on task ("herding cats" as needed).
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.


Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with IT teams and understanding technical language and workflows.
  • Strong documentation and process engineering skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and keep projects on track.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP (not required to be an expert).
  • Background in supply chain, field operations, or construction environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP integrations.
