What You Will Be Doing:

Join the Digital Sustainment and Analytics (DSA) - Sustainment Integrated Tools & Engineering (SITE) Team within Lockheed Martin, where we are revolutionizing our operations and business processes to deliver exceptional value to our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Systems Engineer Associate to support our Sustainment Field Engineering initiatives, software integration and deployment. Your Mission:
As a Systems Engineer Associate, you will play a critical role in navigating the program lifecycle, supporting development, software installation testing, deployments, and field support for a wide range of Logistics Information systems, primarily the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN). Your expertise will help sustain the F-35 IT backbone, ensuring the speed, agility, and insights necessary to stay ahead of rapidly evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting/debugging, and mitigating computer systems and database anomalies
Perform in a DevSecOps environment and partner with other engineering disciplines
Field Support for site software installation and integration (some domestic and international travel required <20%)
Root cause & corrective action analysis and documentation
Customer interactions with Military organizations across the F-35 global fleet
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders during early integration & testing of system install testing, Software code reviews, Software Release Documentation and Dry Runs, and site Installation readiness reviews (IRRs)

Basic Qualifications

Experience with computer troubleshooting
Problem solving, debugging IT issues on Windows or Linux systems
Flexibility/Adaptability with type of work and work schedule
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus ship is required

Desired skills

Undergraduate Degree from an accredited college in Engineering (Computer, Systems, IT, Electrical, etc.), Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision, and know when to escalate to leadership for guidance or approval.
Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software packages, including troubleshooting and debugging.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and ability to automate tasks and processes using these tools.
Knowledge of distributed databases, query languages (e.g. SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), with ability to extract insights and meaning from complex data sets.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring, with ability to apply these principles in a real-world setting.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, HyperV), cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), and containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux with ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot these systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to break down complex problems into manageable components, and develop creative solutions.
Familiarity with security appliances such as firewalls (e.g. WatchGuard, SonicWall, Palo Alto) and ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain these devices to ensure network security and compliance.
Familiarity with ALIS/ODIN Software Design, I&T, Sustainment a plus

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
