About the Role:

We re actively hiring for a Senior Data Modeler to join a high-impact client engagement This consulting role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building modern, scalable, and governed data platforms particularly within the financial services domain.

As part of a dynamic team, you ll collaborate closely with Senior Data Architects and business stakeholders, driving data modeling efforts using leading-edge technologies like Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. This is a unique opportunity to make a strategic impact in a consulting capacity while working on enterprise-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for modern cloud-native architectures.

  • Build dimensional and normalized data structures to support BI, analytics, and machine learning use cases.

  • Define and develop semantic layers and metadata strategies, leveraging tools like Unity Catalog.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance standards are maintained across the data lifecycle.

  • Conduct data discovery sessions and lead client-facing workshops to gather and analyze data requirements.

  • Act as a strategic advisor on best practices for data modeling, architecture, and transformation pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, or data architecture.

  • Deep proficiency in Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and Unity Catalog.

  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization, and data warehousing.

  • Solid experience working with financial data (e.g., compliance, risk, transactions, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Familiarity with data governance tools like Azure Purview, Collibra, or Informatica.

  • Prior experience in consulting or relevant data modeling certifications.
