Job Details
As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of satellite hardware. You'll own the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies that validate wireless payloads, uncover weaknesses, and optimize system durability.
Your work will span the full lifecycle - from design validation to flight readiness - and will be instrumental in proving that payloads can thrive in the harshest environments space has to offer, including radiation, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress.
In this role, you'll:
Build and execute rigorous test protocols for RF and mixed-signal hardware.
Analyze test data to identify failure modes, drive root-cause investigations, and feed improvements back into design.
Develop methods to optimize system resilience under space conditions.
Lead continuous improvement in test methodology, automation, and best practices.
Provide technical mentorship and help raise the bar for test engineering.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - hardware, software, and mechanical - to ensure reliability from initial design through manufacturing and in-orbit operation.
This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA.
