Key Qualifications
B.S. Required, Master's or PhD is preferred Experience leading projects from definition stage to mass productionExperience in architectural discussion with cross-functional leaders related to power supply and digital design for connectivity solutionsExpert in one or more connectivity wireless system like WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB or NFCExperience with RF components and circuits design and integration into consumer productsExperience with at least one RF simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, Matlab or SystemVueMust be an excellent communicator, both written and oralSuccessful track record of delivering highly innovative, and high quality communications productsWell organized and have the ability to be flexible in a changing work environmentInternational travel as needed (10%)
Description
Our Connectivity RF Hardware Design Engineer is an integral member of the Hardware Engineering team designing future wireless products. The Design Engineer in this role is expected to investigate various RF front end architectures to solve product requirements. Lead the architecture and design for a wireless solution into Apple products. This includes front-end architecture, component specification, line-up analysis and modeling, design implementation, and failure analysis. Own their technology from concept through product introduction. They will work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups such as antenna design, industrial design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering.

B.S. and 10+ years of relevant industry experience

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
