One of our direct clients is looking for Infra Network Cloud Architect in Princeton. Below is the detailed job description.

Role: Infra Network Cloud Architect

Location: Princeton

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and monitor networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other networking components.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.), including migrations, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
  • Administer virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
  • Conduct capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and ensure business continuity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across network, storage, compute, and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement infrastructure security best practices and audits.
  • Lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Maintain documentation related to network diagrams, system configurations, SOPs, etc.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment of new applications/services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure roles.
  • Strong expertise in networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Deep understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Experience in automation (Ansible, Terraform, Shell/Python scripting) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure, VMware, etc.) are highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Any relevant certifications will be a plus.
