Description: Our client is currently seeking a IT Helpdesk Support!

We're seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to provide Tier 1 technical support and assist with hardware and software installations, troubleshooting, and user support. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a desire to grow in IT operations.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 support for desktop, laptop, and voice systems; assist with Tier 2 support as needed.
  • Respond to user requests and resolve routine technical issues.
  • Document support activity and maintain records in the Help Desk system.
  • Install and configure software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Create application packages for quick deployment.
  • Maintain inventory of desktop hardware and peripherals.
  • Assist with server and telecom hardware installation under supervision.
  • Monitor and resolve basic system, network, and security issues.
  • Maintain physical and logical security accounts.
  • Relocate technical equipment as needed.
  • Write clear procedural documentation and provide basic user training.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related IT support experience.
  • Basic computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A+ certification (within 6 months of hire).
  • MCP certification (within 12 months of hire).
  • Training or certification in Network+, MCDST, or HDI.
