Seeking a FHIR Interoperability Specialist to lead and support HL7 FHIR-based public health data exchange initiatives. This U.S.-based role involves implementing FHIR interfaces, guiding interoperability strategy, and contributing to data modernization efforts. Requires 5+ years of FHIR experience and a background in health IT or informatics. Remote/hybrid work options available.

responsibilities:


  • Design and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces
  • Provide technical expertise on FHIR standards and workflows
  • Lead planning for FHIR adoption and readiness
  • Support interoperability projects and documentation
  • Stay current on public health data standards and best practices


qualifications:


  • Bachelor's in informatics, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years of HL7 FHIR experience (or Master's/PhD with 2+ years)
  • Experience with FHIR implementation guides and EDI tools (e.g., Rhapsody)
  • Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of public health or clinical information systems preferred
