Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Partner to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, with additional exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning (FI). This role will partner closely with HR leadership, IT teams, and external providers to ensure our Workday HRMS platform drives operational efficiency, employee experience, and long-term scalability. While the primary focus is Workday HR, knowledge of Adaptive Planning will be an advantage for supporting broader Finance/Workforce Planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Strategy
Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on all Workday HRMS-related initiatives.
Align HR technology roadmap with organizational objectives (talent strategy, workforce planning, employee engagement).
Influence decision-making on HR processes and best practices enabled by Workday.

Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the design and configuration of Workday HCM Core and key modules (Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Benefits).
Evaluate new Workday features/releases and recommend adoption strategies.
Oversee integrations with payroll, benefits, and third-party systems.

Product Management
Act as product owner for Workday HRMS, maintaining a prioritized backlog and roadmap.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Ensure usability, compliance, and streamlined employee experience across modules.

Delivery & Leadership
Lead cross-functional delivery teams for Workday HRMS enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts.
Partner with Finance teams to provide limited support on Workday Adaptive Planning (budgeting, headcount planning, workforce modeling).
Ensure timely delivery with measurable HR process improvements and adoption outcomes.
Manage vendors and consultants for Workday projects.

Required Qualifications
10–15+ years of experience in HR Technology / HRIS, with deep exposure to enterprise HRMS platforms.
7+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, including integrations.
Strong expertise in Workday integrations (Studio, Core Connectors, APIs, EIB).
Solid understanding of global HR, payroll, compensation, benefits, and absence processes.
Experience with large-scale global implementations and post–go-live support.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Workday HCM and/or Integration certifications.
Experience with Canada Payroll and global payroll interfaces.
Exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning and workforce/headcount planning.
Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud HCM.
Strong reporting and database skills (SQL Server, SSRS, ETL/SSIS).
