Job Details

COTS Testing - Varicent:

Responsibilities:

Testing complex calculation streams, business rules (e.g., accelerators, clawbacks, and quotas), and payout models for accuracy.
Verifying automated data flows between Varicent and external systems like CRM (Salesforce)
Executing test cases for core Varicent modules
Collaborating with sales and finance stakeholders to validate that the platform reflects real-world compensation scenarios.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, and working with developers to ensure timely fixes before monthly commission cycles.

Required Skills:

Minimum 2 3 years of hands-on experience with the Varicent (formerly IBM ICM) platform.
SQL skills for data validation, querying large datasets, and checking table-level calculations.
Understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) processes.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and languages such as Java or Python.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with active participation in sprint planning and stand-ups.
