Job Title: Data Visualization Specialist

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida. Onsite

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor's/master s degree Data Visualization, Information Design, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience designing dashboards and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities:

Dashboard Design and Development

• Create high-impact dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and other tools as appropriate for the audience and use case
• Translate project goals and user needs into the appropriate dashboard type (strategic, operational, analytical, tactical, or informational)
• Design with a focus on clarity, accuracy, usability, and narrative cohesion
• Build intuitive, responsive, and interactive visual interfaces that facilitate understanding and decision-making.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, row-level security, and development of interactive dashboards across all five primary types
• Proficiency with additional visualization tools such as Tableau, and familiarity with Python (Plotly, Matplotlib, Seaborn), R (ggplot2), and D3.js
• Experience designing accessible, intuitive dashboards that follow best practices in layout, interactivity, and visual perception
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets using SQL and other tools to ensure accuracy, completeness, and performance in visual outputs
• Familiarity with embedding dashboards into web platforms and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integration and customization.
