Job Description:

Client's Architecture and Engineering team is seeking a stellar Senior Project Architect to lead a new 3-story office building retrofit project for a prominent financial services firm in Tampa, Florida.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be able to problem-solve and design both independently and collaboratively. Candidates with 10-12 years of experience are preferred, though those with unique experience or clear potential will be considered. Client uses an integrated delivery process involving architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management, and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.
  • Lead design documentation efforts throughout design and construction phases.
  • Manage project delivery and lead design teams for large, complex projects.
  • Coordinate project schedules, lead meetings, and manage QA/QC processes.
  • Conduct code reviews and regulatory approval processes.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to company culture and learning programs.
  • Participate in project interviews and business development.
  • Set and pursue annual goals aligned with personal and company growth.


Required Qualifications:

  • Professional Architecture degree (Bachelor or Master of Architecture)
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, building codes, documentation, and constructability
  • Experience with office buildings and/or tenant improvement projects
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and coordination experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect in Florida
  • Experience managing projects over $50M
  • Experience with retrofits, repurposing buildings, or urban regeneration
  • Experience with Design-Build projects
  • LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification
