Quantiative Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Quantiative Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct quantitative analysis related to fixed income risk model development, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct quantitative risk analysis and generate diagnostic model performance reports to support internal risk managers as well as external supervisors and clients.
• Follow best practice to implement model prototypes
• Provide production support and maintenance to in-flight quantitative models.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in quantitative analytics and/or model development.
• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study
• Fluent in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of fixed income analytics and/or market risk.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverable.
