The Senior Product Manager is responsible for working cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive product success for offerings within Client's Intelligent Mortgage Services (IMS) focused on transforming the way mortgage lenders approach mortgage decisioning and underwriting.

Successful candidates will have extensive mortgage and underwriting technology experience, as well as a proven track record working on commercial software products. Direct experience as an underwriter is a plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working closely with leadership and to understand and define the product needs, the Senior Product Manager will then work with their team of Product Analysts to flush and requirements to the story level as executable requirements and managing these through the entire SDLC process. The Senior Product Manager will serve in both Individual Contributor and Manager capacities, leading a team of Product Analysts. More specifically, the role focuses on:

  • Working with product leadership to understand the overall strategy for transforming underwriting, then applying this knowledge to a specific set of deliverables to leverage innovation to maximize quantifiable business value.
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams and customers to flush out all the relevant use cases and become a domain expert on the offering.
  • Writing high level requirements and business flows for the initiative.
  • Managing individual Product Analysts who are responsible to take these initiative level requirements, break them out into implementable user stories and manage them through the SDLC.
  • Ensuring that user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria written by Product Analysts are complete, unambiguous, and implementable by a distributed development team.
  • Closely mentor the Product Analysts to provide consistent deliverables while at the same time fostering creativity and unique styles.
  • Manage the initiative through all elements of the SDLC, engaging cross-functionally with various business and technology entities to ensure successful outcomes for the initiative.
  • Define and monitor metrics for success.
  • Work with internal teams to provide product training and support to clients.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain regular and punctual attendance.
