Gen AI Specialist
Hybrid | Must be based in the NYC or San Francisco area (occasional on-site meetings required)

What you get to do:

  • Design, train, and deploy advanced machine learning models using Databricks, MosaicML, and Azure ML

  • Optimize and fine-tune LLMs and other deep learning models for scalability and performance

  • Develop and manage data pipelines using PySpark, MLflow, Delta Lake, and CI/CD practices

  • Build and operationalize intelligent automation and agent-based applications (e.g., CRM, prospecting, finance tools)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to convert business needs into GenAI solutions

  • Perform EDA, feature engineering, and model evaluation using key performance metrics (precision, recall, F1, etc.)

  • Document findings, mentor junior team members, and contribute to governance and compliance standards for ethical AI


What you need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning or AI model development with models deployed in production

  • Strong experience in Databricks, PySpark, and Spark MLlib in distributed environments

  • Practical knowledge of MosaicML for model training and optimization

  • Expertise in Python, with proficiency in SQL and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face

  • Solid understanding of the Azure ecosystem, including Azure ML, Data Lake, Key Vault, and Event Hubs

  • Experience building CI/CD workflows and model pipelines using Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Data Factory

  • Consulting background with the ability to interface with clients and translate business needs into technical outcomes

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team
