Job Description

Immediate need for a talented ServiceNow Developer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Cary, NC (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:


  • Configure and customize core Client applications and modules to fit the specific needs of the business, including ITSM, CMDB, SPM, etc.
  • Support integrations between Client and other systems or platforms using web services, APIs, or other integration tools.
  • Identify and resolve issues with the Client platform, including debugging and troubleshooting problems with scripts, workflows, or integrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Client configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow solutions.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • Top 3 skills: TSM, CMDB, JavaScript
  • Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS. Other programming languages and frameworks such as React, Python, and SQL is a plus.
  • Experience configuring and customizing core ServiceNow modules (such as ITSM, CMDB, SPM) in an enterprise environment including workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, and ACLs.
  • Experience configuring and customizing in ServiceNow tools such as Flow Designer, integration Hub, UI Builder, Playbook, and Configurable Workspace
