Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cable Technician to join our Data Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. You will work closely with network engineers and operations staff to support critical infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables in compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform cable management, labeling, and documentation for all installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair cabling issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of cable layouts and connectivity.
  • Collaborate with data center operations and network teams to support infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, FOA) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in structured cabling or data center environments.
  • Proficiency in cable testing tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with data center operations and network hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Goodyear, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
