Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid
Contract: 6-Months
Pay: $125-170/hour (DOE)

About the Team: The Marketing team helps people understand and connect with our products. We work across design, product, engineering, and comms to ensure our websites are compelling, high-performing, and aligned to strategic goals. We're currently focused on improving our B2B customer journey with a particular eye toward increasing top-of-funnel traffic and conversion from visitors to product adoption and sales engagement.

About the Role: As a Website Growth & Performance Marketing Contractor, you will help lead a cross-functional effort to improve the performance of our marketing website. You'll work closely with marketing, product, web, and design partners to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and implement improvements across the customer journey with a strong focus on B2B audiences. We're looking for someone who can blend qualitative research with quantitative analysis to inform website strategy, prioritize high-impact experiments, and elevate our understanding of what drives engagement and conversion. You'll support one of our most important growth levers: improving the performance and conversion of our website as a distribution channel for B2B products.

In this role, you will:

  • Audit and improve the B2B customer journey across our website, identifying gaps, friction points, and drop-off areas
  • Design and implement top-of-funnel experiments and optimizations to increase awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Use a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover insights and test hypotheses
  • Partner with design, engineering, and content teams to bring ideas to life
  • Establish processes and frameworks to help us think holistically about website growth beyond single-page tests


You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or CRO with a strong focus on website strategy
  • You have a deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and how organic traffic can fuel scalable growth
  • Are excellent at synthesizing both qual and quant research to inform web decisions
  • Have strong familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools
  • Are a systems thinker who can zoom out to the journey level but also dig into the page and component level
  • Are proactive, resourceful, and able to operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
