The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates supporting the Engineering Team that has an opening for Engineering Technician I in Clarkston, GA!

Position Summary:
The Engineering Technician I will support manufacturing operations by assisting engineers in process optimization, troubleshooting, and documentation. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.

Additional Details:
Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $20 to $25/hour on W2 as per experience

Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization:

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies.
  • Improve process flow, reduce cycle times, and increase throughput.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
  • Provide support for complex production issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhere to company safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
Documentation & Training:
  • Maintain detailed process documentation and SOPs.
  • Create and update operating procedures.
  • Train production personnel on process updates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Recent college graduate or minimum of 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing industries (chemical, electronics, medical device).
