Job Description:
The Responsible AI Consultant is a strategic, client-facing role within client s global AI practice. This position focuses on guiding organizations through the ethical, legal, and societal dimensions of artificial intelligence. The consultant will work across industries to develop and implement Responsible AI strategies, frameworks, and governance models that ensure fairness, transparency, accountability, and compliance in AI systems. This role combines deep expertise in AI ethics with strong consulting and communication skills, enabling clients to deploy AI solutions that are not only innovative but also trustworthy and aligned with emerging global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor on Responsible AI, building strong client relationships.
- Lead workshops and discussions to educate stakeholders on ethical AI principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Responsible AI across the AI lifecycle.
- Translate complex ethical and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strategy and Framework Development:
- Design and implement Responsible AI strategies, policies, and guidelines.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses.
- Advise on fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy-preserving techniques.
- Monitor evolving regulations and best practices in Responsible AI.
- Implementation and Governance:
- Integrate Responsible AI into development methodologies and governance structures.
- Develop tools and processes for monitoring AI system performance.
- Support the creation of internal AI ethics review boards and oversight mechanisms.
- Provide guidance on data governance aligned with Responsible AI.
- Thought Leadership and Knowledge Sharing:
- Contribute to white papers, blogs, and presentations on Responsible AI.
- Represent Client at industry events and conferences.
- Mentor junior team members on Responsible AI practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in AI, data science, data governance, or technology consulting.
- Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles: fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, and security.
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act).
- Experience conducting ethical risk assessments and impact analyses.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications or formal training in Responsible AI or related areas.
- Experience with Responsible AI tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall).
- Cross-industry consulting experience.
- Knowledge of bias detection and mitigation techniques.
- Understanding of explainable AI (XAI) methods.
