Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) Systems Engineer to join the ISP Integration Team. This role provides systems engineering and project management expertise for Data Center and ISP activities, ensuring reliable, resilient, and scalable GEOINT infrastructure across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies.

- Engineering & Integration: Support the NGA Service Integration Directorate (TEI), reviewing IT requirements and defining project management workflows.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide feedback on GEOINT Infrastructure Requirements, implementation processes, and contractor scope alignment.
- Lifecycle Management: Conduct studies, lead evaluations, identify solutions, and support major reviews to drive mission-critical IT decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Deliver metrics and status reports to NGA leadership, including Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
- Resource Oversight: Monitor funding distribution and resource allocation to optimize customer engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with government and mission partners, representing customer needs in Requirements Validation Meetings (RVMs).
- Architecture & Cost Analysis: Perform product evaluations, cost estimations, and architecture trade studies to support Requests for Change (RFCs).
- Service+ Implementation: Guide the integration of Service+ as a workflow management tool, conducting testing and user training.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate on knowledge management initiatives to improve IT service efficiency and user experience.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
- Education: Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, MIS, etc.), or 18+ years of relevant experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Experience: 18+ years in government or industry within areas such as DoD/IC acquisition, requirements, PPBES, or system engineering for large-scale, complex systems (System of Systems, Service-Oriented Architecture, or Cloud environments).
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and sustainment.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly

- Education: Doctorate in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, MIS, etc.).
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including related processes, tools, and languages.
- Software Development Framework certification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Industry Engagement: Active membership or leadership in professional organizations such as:
- ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, O SAREM, or USGIF.
- Domain Expertise:
- Extensive experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT).
- Engineering solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
- Expertise in structured and unstructured Big Data solutions.
- Experience leveraging Automation, Augmentation, and AI technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, GIS, geomatics, or related fields.
