Job Details

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on EDI Architect with a strong background in healthcare data integration and deep expertise in EDI transactions such as 834, 837, and HL7. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) and a proven ability to design, develop, and optimize scalable EDI integration architectures. This is a critical role to drive end-to-end EDI transformation initiatives in a complex healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure EDI solutions across healthcare platforms.
  • Lead the development and integration of EDI transaction sets, including 834 (Enrollment), 837 (Claims), and HL7 (Clinical Data).
  • Collaborate with business analysts, application teams, and partners to gather requirements and define EDI specifications.
  • Provide hands-on development and deployment of interfaces using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Define and enforce data standards, mapping rules, and transformation logic for healthcare EDI flows.
  • Manage production EDI data flows and troubleshoot issues to ensure end-to-end data quality and delivery.
  • Support HIPAA compliance, secure data exchange, and audit requirements.
  • Mentor development teams and support code reviews and best practices in integration design.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ yearsof experience in EDI development, architecture, and integration, specifically in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong experience with EDI 834, 837, and HL7data formats, standards, and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) including Application Integration, Data Integration, and B2B Gateway modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA-compliantdata exchange, validation, and security practices.
  • Proficiency with EDI mapping tools, X12 standards, and validation tools.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer-provider workflows and terminology.
  • Experience with partner onboarding and trading partner configuration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Informatica MDM, API Management, or other ETL tools.
  • Experience working with payers, providers, or healthcare technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with FHIR standardsand modern healthcare data APIs is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum
  • Informatica certifications or HL7 certifications are advantageous.

  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and proactive.

Education:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
